Our unfilled PTFE tube provides chemically resistant, electrically insulating stock for custom sleeves, bushings, liners, and sealing components. Manufactured from polytetrafluoroethylene, the polymer commonly associated with the Teflon® brand, it combines a low-friction surface with very low moisture absorption.
The hollow profile offers a practical starting point for machining cylindrical parts, reducing the material removal needed compared with solid rod. PTFE tubing is useful for chemical processing equipment, laboratory systems, and industrial assemblies where resistance to aggressive media and low surface adhesion are priorities.
This unfilled material contains no glass, carbon, or bronze fillers. Its relatively soft structure suits conformable components, with designs allowing for creep under sustained pressure.
