Water Jet Cutting
Water jet cutting is a manufacturing process that uses a high-pressure stream of water to cut material. For harder materials, abrasive particles are added to the stream. Because the cut produces little heat, it can shape metals, plastics, composites and stone without significantly affecting the material around the cut.
